Nobody likes paying out of pocket for every expensive auto repair– at least, we don’t think anyone would enjoy that. That’s why there are things like extended auto warranties and vehicle service contracts, to help people like you, who would rather keep their money for better or more important things!
CarShield is an industry-leading vehicle protection company in the United States, offering protection for people’s cars and budgets. Customers save on many auto repair bills, and all plans come with additional benefits like 24/7 roadside assistance, rental car options, and courtesy towing.
So, what does CarShield cover when it comes to vehicle repairs?
CarShield has many plan options, offering coverage for almost anyone’s protection and budget needs. You just have to call us, and we can help figure out what will work best for you and your vehicle.
Now let’s break down the available plan options.
All of CarShield’s plans are available for term or month-to-month. Term plans cover your vehicle for a set number of years or miles, whichever comes first. An example is a 4-year, 100,000-mile agreement. A month-to-month plan, on the other hand, is exactly as it sounds, a monthly agreement that can be renewed every month or canceled any time you want. By far, most people prefer the flexibility of a month-to-month plan.
Diamond Plan Coverage
This is our most popular plan, due to its similarity to the manufacturer's warranty that comes with a new car. It covers a wide range of issues, including engine and transmission failures as well as starter problems and fuel pump breakdowns.
Platinum Plan Coverage
This plan offers the most extensive coverage for vehicles with higher mileage. It protects against problems with the engine, transmission, AC, electrical system, starter, water pump, fuel pump, & more.
Gold Plan Coverage
If your vehicle has over 100,000 miles, this may be the plan for you. This plan provides protection on the engine, transmission, water pump, starter, alternator, A/C, and power window motors.
Silver Plan Coverage
This plan offers powertrain coverage. It includes coverage for the most crucial components of your vehicle, including all lubricated parts on your engine, transmission, and water pump.

Do we cover your vehicle?
There’s a good chance we do! CarShield covers new, used/pre-owned, salvaged, and branded titles. If your vehicle falls in any of these categories– you’re in luck!
How to get coverage
Here are a few things to have on hand before you call: the make, model, mileage, and age of your vehicle.
Once you have secured CarShield coverage, it’s important to stay on top of routine maintenance– also note that pre-existing conditions are not covered in your plan.
Taking care of your car isn’t just about avoiding breakdowns; it also ensures that your CarShield protection stays in place when you need it most.
The good news? You don’t have to be a car expert to keep your car in top shape. A few simple preventative maintenance habits can extend your vehicle’s life, improve fuel efficiency, and prevent costly repairs.
Stay on Top of Routine Maintenance
Keeping your CarShield coverage active and your car in good shape is easy; just follow your vehicle’s maintenance schedule. You’ll find it in your car owner’s manual or even online. This schedule tells you when to check key components like:
- Oil changes
- Brakes
- Fluid checks
- Battery health
- Filters
- Tire Rotations
Don’t Wait Until It’s Too Late
