It’s shaping up to potentially be quite the show if St. Louis Blues defender between the pipes, Jordan Binnington, has a showdown with the pop star sensation with vocal pipes, Justin Bieber.
It all started when Jordan Binnington issued a personal challenge to Justin Bieber, after seeing a video of Justin celebrating some recreational hockey goals. Binnington decided to take to his own Instagram account to issue a friendly challenge to Bieber, and see if he’d like to test his shooting skills against a goalie that helped earn his team the 2019 Stanley Cup Champions title in his rookie year.
Justin Bieber responded positively, but realized others could benefit from the friendly competition and issued a $10,000 to charity bet. The whole exchange has blown up on Instagram.
A Promising Competition Is Brewing
Justin Bieber is no stranger to the game of Hockey. The Canadian born singer has been playing his whole life and even participated in the 2017 NHL All-Star Celebrity Game. It was there that he had a memorable moment with former Captain of the St. Louis Blues, Chris Pronger.
No word back from Binnington, yet, but It’s looking like whether Bieber makes a goal on Binnington or not, a chosen charity could definitely score.
